HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU NEED TO BOOK A CINEMATOGRAPHER FOR A WEDDING?

While there is no requirement to book at any specific time, the majority of couples we have dealt with book anywhere from 3-12 months in advance. The problem with later bookings is our availability.  As long as we have enough time to prepare, and are available on your wedding day, we would love to be there for it!  Our suggestion is to start looking for a cinematographer as soon as you book your venue. If you’re certain that you would like to hire us, then we suggest inquiring about our availability prior to booking the venue.

HOW MUCH TIME COVERAGE DO I NEED?

The amount of coverage for each wedding can vary depending on how dynamic you would like the video to be, what time the bride and groom plan on getting ready, and what time the ceremony and reception start. Proper coverage ensures we have time to capture all of the emotion of the day. For example, brides typically begin their hair and/or makeup several hours before the ceremony or first look. While we don’t need to be there to capture every second of that process, we like to arrive somewhere in the middle to have time to setup, capture your family and/or bridesmaids, and capture details such as your dress, flowers, and wedding rings. In addition, it is important for us to be aware of the time your venue anticipates cake-cutting, as this is typically the final detail of the day that we like to capture.

IS CINEMA ROLL INSURED?

Of Course!  We are fully insured to accommodate the requirements for shooting at any ceremony or reception venue.  We are happy to share our policy with your particular venue if they ask.

DO YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL SERVICES LIKE REHEARSAL COVERAGE OR RAW FOOTAGE?

DO YOU OFFER 4K VIDEO?

Yes we do!  As standard, all of our packages are shot in crystal clear full HD 1080p but we also offer a 4K upgrade for any of our packages.  Since 4K is the future, we offer this so that our couples can future-proof their wedding video and years down the road, it'll still be up to date with the latest technology.

WHAT CAN’T I USE THAT SONG I HEARD ON THE RADIO?

It all comes down to what is legal. Just like paying sales tax buying the license to music is so important to keep us legal and to keep us in good standing with music providers and Federal copyright laws. Buying a song from iTunes and using it as a music track for your wedding film is highly illegal and can come with very hefty fines and penalties. We have 4 online sources (The Music Bed, SongFreedom, Triple Scoop Music and Marmoset Music) where we license our music and they're all outstanding!

DO YOU OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES AS WELL?

We only offer cinema services, no photography, but we are more than happy to refer you to a photographer that we highly recommend and will be best suited for your wedding.

WHAT IS THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT PROCESS IF I CHOOSE TO GO WITH CINEMA-ROLL?

Once you have decided on a package, we will send you an agreement with all the details about your day, what to expect,  and what is included in your cinema package.  Once you have reviewed it, you will have to sign it and send the agreement back to us along with a 20% non refundable deposit.  This deposit ensures your date in locked in and reserved just for your wedding.  After that, we will send you an invoice for the first half of the remaining balance which is due one month before your wedding day, and the second half of the remaining balance is due by the end of your wedding day.
